SUPER-WIRELAB.XYThe system uses XACTUM series laser measuring instruments, which enable fast and repeatable measurements. The system can measure products with circular or rectangular cross-sections (metal strips). During the measurement period, a special fixture can be used to rotate the sample: the scanning frequency of the laser sensor is 1500 Hz, and each scan is linked to the angular position detected by the encoder (increasing by 0.1 ° per step). In this way, in circular cross-section products, the diameter can be controlled on a 360 ° circumference: detecting the average diameter MED-D, maximum MAX-D, minimum MIN-D, and the actual ellipticity between MAX-D and MIN-D. In rectangular cross-section products, the system detects DIM-1 and DIM-2 dimensions during fixture rotation.
The measured values are presented on a highly visible backlit LCD display. Compare the measured value with the tolerance limit and check if the dimensions of the part comply with the regulations. Collecting measurement values along the circumference also allows for the creation of a polar coordinate diagram of a circular arc cross-section.
Equip the fixture with a pneumatic system for clamping the wire, which is controlled by a foot switch; In addition, the measurement automatically starts during the rotation of the fixture itself.
WIRELAB can be connected to an external personal computer via RS232 serial port or Ethernet connection. By using GageXcom software, all measurement data can be presented in real-time on an Excel spreadsheet, allowing users to further process the data and personalize the measurement data.
